The Source of the Secret is the Source to all life, and that is to know God. In his book, Wild at Heart, John Eldridge says, “Don’t ask yourself what the world needs, but ask yourself, what makes you come alive and go do that.” What the world needs is men and women who are fully alive. The Bible very clearly states that all men are "dead in their trespasses and sins." There is an inherent problem with mankind. That problem is sin. Sin is the ultimate and only problem of humanity. It is both internal and external. Man has a bad heart as well as a bad record. So the questions arise - How can man become right with God? How can an absolutely just and righteous judge ever justify (declare righteous) an absolutely guilty and condemned individual? There is only one answer to this question. Someone has to pay for the sinner's sin. Justice must be satisfied. Either it will be satisfied by the sinner's own suffering forever in hell, or it must be satisfied by someone else on the sinner's behalf. Jesus Christ is that someone else.

Jesus Christ is the Source of the Secret. He says, "No one can come to the Father (God) but through Me." Are you carrying the burden of sin and guilt? Jesus Christ came to cleanse you from all sin. No matter how great your sins may be, they are nothing compared to the infinite worth of Christ's sacrifice! So come to Him! He invites and commands you to come; you need not fear that you are being presumptuous by coming: "And let the one who is thirsty come; let the one who wishes take the water of life without cost." Come to Him! Take the Water of Life! Cast your sins upon Him and trust Him as your sin-bearer. Repent and believe in the Lord Jesus and you will be saved.
